Contains the following type of materials: photographs. Covers the following wars: Civil War, World War I (WWI). General description of the collection: The Rolfe Hillman L. collection was composed by WWI veteran Hillman who served in the narrow gauge railroad engineers. His interest then caused him to collect photos of narrow gauge railway subjects. The bulk of the photos of this collection, then, show this topic. There are also photos of standard gauge railroad rolling stock, and copies of some official WWI photos. There is a series of photos of Ford motor vehicles from the 1915 to 1920 period. There is also a small series of photos of a parachute drop exercise in 1941. Photo coverage of Fort Benning from WWI to World War II (WWII) is also in one folder, consisting of 11 photos. The few miscellaneous photos of veterans activities and two shots of a machine gun cart in 1931.
